Education of the quality in soil near water sources for agricultural uses in Papai Village, Chanthuek Sub-district, Pak Chong District Nakhon Ratchasima Province
Abstract:
Education of the quality in soil near water sources for agricultural use in Papai Village, Chanthuek Sub-district, Pak Chong District Nakhon Ratchasima Province aims to assess soil quality for agricultural purposes. In this study, 15 soil samples were analyzed using physical instruments, chemistry according to standard methods, as well as for microorganisms in the soil. Results of the study revealed that the soil is moderately acidic (pH 6.0), lack of nutrients in the soil, such as nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P), with a microorganism of 105-106, a group of microorganisms degrades organic matter, releasing nutrients into the soil. The soil be used for agriculture but requires management of plant nutrition by adding compost and chemical fertilizers. Additionally appropriate soil and water management and conservation should be carried out to maintain a common environment for sustainable land use.
