Abstract:
This research aimed to study recent conditions and necessary requirements of internal supervision model of school administrators and develop the model of internal supervision of school administrators under the Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The data was collected through a questionnaire from a sample group of 227 government teachers and educational personnel, selected through a
simple random sampling technique. A dept-interview was conducted to five school administrators, educational administrators, and supervisors. Statistics used included means, standard deviations, priority need index (PNI Modified) methods, and content
analysis. The results revealed that:
1. The actual conditions of internal supervision of school administrators under the Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 were overall at a high level and expected conditions were overall at the highest level.
2. All necessary requirements of developing internal supervision model of school administrators ranking according to PNI Modified included operation procedures aspect (PNI modified = 0.050), knowledge provision for action aspect (PNI modified = 0.048),
supervision plan aspect (PNI modified = 0.039), motivation and encouragement aspect (PNI modified = 0.036), and evaluation of operational outcomes aspect (PNI modified = 0.031).
3. The model of internal supervision of school administrators under the Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 comprised four components including principles of model, objectives of model, procedures of internal supervision, and success factors/conditions.
4. The evaluation results of internal supervision model of school administrators under the Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 according to Stufflebeam et.al (1994) consisted of four aspects: utility, feasibility, propriety, and accuracy which overall were at the highest level.
