Abstract:
The staffs of health promoting Tambon hospital is responsible for the heavy workload, many functional roles and worked in the community. They were to make a resignation to work elsewhere. Therefore, this study was to find the correlation between organizational commitment and quality of work life in the work among staffs of health promoting Tambon hospital. The sample was consisted of 210 staffs from health promoting tambon hospital in Chonburi province. Data were collected by submitting surveys via social networks and analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearsons product moment correlation coefficient. The results of this study were shown that the staffs were most of the female (77.1%), an average age of 33.6+-8.5 years, a bachelors degree and above (80.5%). Public health officials (50.5%) were civil servants (66.2%). And the rest were employees and employees. The average working age was 9.6+-8.4 years. There was an average overall Commitment score 72.4% of the total score and an average overall quality of life in the work score 75.1% of the total score. The correlation of commitment score and quality of life in work score relted significantly, given .649 Pearsons product moment correlation coefficient. (<.001). So, administrators at all levels should support the commitment to staffs to pride and ownership in HPTH.
