Abstract:
The purpose of this reseach was to study content and communication pattern through infographic on Facebook fanpage Infographic Thailand. The content analysis was used to analyze this fanpage for 6 months from July 1st December 31, 2016. Moreover, the questionnaire was used to collect data from 400 samples who are the member of Inforgraphic Thailand Facebook fanpage to study their perception and content recognition. The result shown that most of the content on Infographic Thailand fanpage was How to, news coverage or current situation and the comparision. Most of the presentation pattern was 1) visual which be able to click on the external link to explore indept information, and 2) vdo clip with animation and sound. For visual communication, it found that they were 3 combined patterns which was virtual reality, abstract and symbol. The receiver simply understood and instantly recognize the meaning of those visuals. Most of the samples were female, age between 18-24 years old, educational level was bachelor degree, working in private company, have visited this fanpage once a week by using mobile phone, and selected to read upon their interest. Most of them knew this fanpage from friend sharing. The like reason was to follow the useful information. The perception, content and inforgraphic pattern recognition level were high because it had beautiful illustration and strike the eye infographic which affected to their perception and recognition. The result of hypothesis testing shown that samples with different gender and age did not affect to the content and communication pattern through inforgraphic perception and recognition while the different in educational level and occupation affected to the content and communication pattern through inforgraphic perception and recognition were statistically significant at 0.05.
