Model Development of Community Enterprises Producing Processed Agricultural Products in the Three Southern Border Provinces Based on the Business Management Model
Abstract:
Business management is an important strategy in every business operation. The purpose of this research is to develop a model of a community enterprise producing processed agricultural products in the southern border provinces according to a business management model. Data were collected by interviewing four members of the development group selected for development and questionnaires were given to 100 sample consumers who tasted new products. Content analysis was used to analyze the qualitative data and the quantitative data were analyzed through the use of descriptive statistics. The results revealed the development composed of 2 main issues, namely entrepreneurial potential and business management, covering financial management, production management, marketing management, and human resource management. As a result, group members have better entrepreneurial
potential, especially in terms of innovation capabilities. Additionally, they have developed skills in business management, particularly in financial planning and accounting. They have enhanced production efficiency, product development, marketing promotion, and distribution. Furthermore, there has been effective knowledge transfer within the group, and a welfare policy has been implemented to
boost morale among members. From monitoring the development results, it is found that the business operations of the group have improved in terms of finances, customers, internal processes, and learning and growth. Nevertheless, group members should continuously enhance entrepreneurial skills and business management to adapt to the changing business environment.
